What happens when hate turns to love?

The Prosecutor’s Proposal follows the story of Lee Chaeha (Park Si Woo), and Ju Tae Seon (Kim Yoon Sik), who are embroiled in bitter memories of childhood trauma. Lee Chaeha’s father was accused of murdering Ju Tae Seon’s father, whom he worked for at the time. Before he could go to trial, he comited suicide, and left his son to deal with the aftermath. Years later, Ju Tae Seon seizes his chance for revenge when he realizes Lee Chaeha is the son of his father’s killer and plans to make his life miserable. What he doesn’t expect to find is that his life is already miserable enough due to the mistreatment of his uncle’s family, who took him in and raised him. Lee Chaeha had changed his name and decided to work for the prosecution office, hoping for a new start. Sadly, he can never truly escape his past. When Prosecutor Ju asks him to work on his taskforce investigating a murder, he can’t say no. As they get closer, a bond forms and they start a sexual partnership as well, or as Prosecutor Ju puts it: sex partners. Over time however, his feelings for Lee Chaeha grows and much to his initial dismay, he grows deep feelings for him. As they close in on discovering who the killer is, their relationship becomes more entangled and boundaries are irrevocably crossed. What I loved about this series: The acting. For it being their first time working together, Park Si Woo and Kim Yoon Sik had incredible onscreen chemistry and their nc scenes were some of the spiciest I’ve seen in kbls yet. They earned the monikers “the vacuum and bl’s loudest moaner” from netizens for obvious reasons. The action was good, and the nc scenes were intense. The ending was surprisingly cozy and sweet, and wrapped up nicely. What I didn’t like: the murder itself sort of took a back burner for me at least. I was much more interested in their relationship. It was enough to keep me watching til the end. I also wasn’t crazy with how short the episodes were, considering how long the book what. 10 20 minute episodes kind of felt like a rip off and each one left me wanting more. Overall, if you want an easily bingeable kblm, this is perfect. It’s an easy weekend or night watch and doesn't take too much time commitment. Overall, I give this a 9/10.
