One of Prime Video's biggest action series made an appearance at San Diego Comic-Con, giving fans their first proper look at Reacher Season 4. If the new trailer is anything to go by, Jack Reacher's next outing could be his biggest challenge yet. Every year, another group of people seem to look at Jack Reacher and decides it's a good idea to pick a fight with the towering ex-military investigator. History suggests that never ends well. Season 4 adapts Gone Tomorrow, the 13th Jack Reacher novel by Lee Child. The story begins with Reacher riding a late-night subway train when he notices a woman displaying several warning signs associated with a potential suicide bomber. Before he can intervene, she suddenly pulls out a gun and takes her own life. Determined to uncover the truth, Reacher is pulled into a dangerous conspiracy involving the Pentagon, government secrets and ruthless enemies who will do anything to keep the truth buried. If the trailer is anything to go by, fans can expect another season packed with brutal fights, tense investigations and the kind of no-nonsense justice that has made the series such a hit. Many readers consider Gone Tomorrow to be one of Lee Child's strongest novels thanks to its darker tone, relentless pacing and gripping conspiracy storyline. Unlike some previous Reacher stories set in small towns, this adventure throws him into a much larger mystery with far-reaching consequences. With the stakes higher than ever, Season 4 looks set to test Reacher in ways we've never seen before. Comic-Con also gave us our first trailer for Neagley, the upcoming spin-off following Frances Neagley, Reacher's trusted former military colleague. While she may not have Reacher's towering frame, the trailer makes it clear she's every bit as capable—and perhaps even a little more unpredictable when the situation calls for it. Reacher Season 4 premieres on Prime Video on August 12, with Neagley arriving on September 16.
