Wolverine

I played this game while wearing a Wolverine mask. The eyes steamed up so badly that I seriously couldn’t see who I was fighting, where I was going or what was even happening on the screen.

I only managed about 20 minutes with this game and somehow it felt like about 15 of those minutes were cutscenes.

The bits I actually got to play weren’t thrilling either. There was plenty of fighting but I was pretty mch just bashing Square over and over until everyone around me stopped moving.

Somehow I still managed to beat what felt like about 50 enemies, run through a dense forest, climb a tree and navigate my way through the map into the next section. How is this possible when completely blind.

That probably sounds like a joke, but its not. I genuinely couldn’t see the screen properly and it required so little from me that I was able to easily progress through the game.

Maybe it gets better later on. Maybe the combat opens up and there’s more to it than what I saw in those first 20 minutes, but if I can accidentally fight my way through an entire section while looking through two steamed up bits of plastic, that doesn’t exactly fill me with confidence.

So I turned it off.

Twenty minutes obviously isn’t enough for me to judge the entire game, but it was enough for me to decide I was done.

Im really disappointed by this. I love Wolverine, and I think Liam Mcintyre is amazing, but its essentially £70 im not getting back
